Won’t be long before Lake Erie smallmouth season begins again.

Lake Erie remains in a liquid state and with the months rolling by so fast, I have a feeling its not going to freeze again this year. Maybe al gore is right…naaa never mind al is nuts. Guys were out perch fishing the last few days, as I write this it’s mid January here near Buffalo New York. I am sure it takes a bit of work getting your boat out of the marinas with the water level down over 2 feet, but if you are a real fisherman, its well worth the effort. I for one cant wait for my new boat, 2013 Lund 2075 with a Mercury 250 Pro Verado, to arrive as its never to early to get to work on it and rig it for 2013. When I write even short messages like this it gets my heart pumping in anticipation of guiding clients once again for the Lake Erie smallmouth bass of lifetime. Call me and book a date.
