There I was catching and releasing one beautiful smallmouth after the other on Lake Erie

Testimonial from Pat Sullivan

Hi, Jim
Another trip in the books and what a trip it was. I didn’t think we had a snow ball’s chance in Hell of catching fish yesterday. Wind ripping at 20mph plus; Lake Erie at its finest with 5 to 6 foot rollers and a few even larger just to keep things interesting, and enough rain to make Noah jealous. Still you put me on the bass! I shouldn’t be amazed since you have done it every trip but still I never tire of watching you at work. The wind never let up and kept following us around the Lake. But you always stayed one step ahead of it and had another drop just out of its reach. There I was catching and releasing one beautiful smallmouth after the other, well actually I dropped more than I got to the boat, can’t be my fault – must be defective minnows . I wouldn’t believe you could be riding 5 ft rollers in 25 ft of water and be picking one 3 or 4 lb bass after the other. Each trip, I come away with a greater appreciation for your skill and experience. Already counting the days until next season.  All the best! Pat

PS – my fingers thawed out just in time for my guitar lesson last night!
