New plastic blades for walleye fishing make for some great catches.

People are always looking to build a better mousetrap when sometimes the old trap only needs a tweak to be better. Such is the case for Professional Walleye Fisherman Keith Eshbaugh when it comes to making a better spinner blade. The very talented Pa. angler has taken the much loved and always used Colorado blade and created one out of plastic to make for a different look for spooky walleye in clear water. His web site www.dutchforkcustomlures.com has them on display for all to see. Along with the great paint jobs on the site he also has a new style of clevis for changing blades without having to retie the entire worm harness. I for one, can’t wait to use them here on Lake Erie near Buffalo New York for walleye this coming June.
